Privacy Policy


A user on the Baked Bird site sends the following information to Baked Bird : IP, session ID, type of browser, time and date information and geolocation. We are a Wix website. Wix analytics and its software tools can be used to measure and collect session information, including  page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page.

What do we collect?

We collect the following personally identifiable information from the users who subscribe to our newsletter, as well as their geolocation, device settings (mobile or desktop) and IP address.

We also collect the following personally identifiable information from the users who use our restaurant services: name, phone number, email, address, platform currency, order details, billing address, payment information(including credit card information). We may also collect comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations, and personal profile.

What is the data used for?

Much of this data is used to facilitate the operation of the website, such as online food ordering or subscribing to our mailing list. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated below only.

- allowing the ordering of food online and online payments
- allowing us to send you promotional news via our newsletter
- allowing us to apply discounts in relation to the data you have preferred to share with us
- provide you recommendations of our menu in relation to the data you have preferred to share with us
- to provide our users with ongoing customer assistance and technical support
- to create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred non-personal Information, which we or our business partners may use to provide and improve our respective services (for instance what type of new dishes will be popular, merchandise needs etc)
- to comply with any applicable laws and regulations

We may also use device information such as IP address to detect and mitigate fraudulent activity.

How is the data stored?

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

What cookies do we use?

Cookies are small pieces of data stored of the user's browser for a variety of functions. Baked Bird is a Wix website and only uses essential and functional cookies. To see a detailed list of the cookies please refer to https://support.wix.com/en/article/cookies-and-your-wix-site.

In addition, users have the option to login via the Facebook API. By doing this, users agree for Facebook to provide information to the website. The following is a list of information Facebook is able to provide the website: name, profile picture, email address, gender, birthday, location, names and pictures of Facebook friends, interests and affinity networks, and other publicly available information on Facebook.

At the time of writing, Baked Bird does not store or use any information from Facebook API. We simply use Facebook API as a way for users to quickly go though the ordering process and become a member.

Do not track

Certain browsers are able to indicate to the website that they do not wish the user's information to be tracked via a Do Not Track signal.

Please note that we do not change our practices in response to a “Do Not Track” signal in the HTTP header from a browser or mobile application, however, most browsers allow you to control cookies, including whether or not to accept them and how to remove them. As a European, how does GDPR effect me?

GDPR is a landmark regulation that regulates the submission, withdrawal, handling and storing of user digital information. As a European resident, you have the right to access all the data we hold about you. Upon request, you can ask for it to be corrected, updated or deleted. In addition, as a Wix website with databases, your information may be transferred to locations outside of Europe.

Data Retention

At the time of writing, Baked Bird stores customer data in a database in perpetuity. We will however delete, update or correct such data at the request of the user.

The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18.

Baked Bird is willing to accommodate refunds in cases of lost items, incorrect orders, and damaged food.
